Already one of SW Florida’s most successful programs, FBA has stepped it up with two Final Four appearances in the past four seasons, and now hopes British 18U star 6-2 SR Latrell Davis can help his team win a state title.

SCOTT STEWART begins his 15th year as the Lions’ head coach. He played point guard at the University of Florida (1989-93), and was a 12-year pro while Christian Basketball Mission trips contributed to a career spanning more than 50 countries. He is joined on the bench by his father, longtime Lely coach Don Stewart, so when you talk about FBA basketball, it is truly a family affair. Scott and his wife Margaret have six children, who all love basketball and sports – leading to some very competitive “talks” in the evening after games! Once a player in the City of Palms, he now gets the opportunity to coach here, as well.
