Tigers At A Glance

The Tigers finished as a consensus top-five team nationally, including No. 2 in Ball is Life FAB 50, No. 3 in MaxPreps’ Xcellent 25, and No. 3 by ESPN. Wasatch earned a No. 2 seed at the prestigious GEICO Nationals, before the tournament was scuttled by Covid-19, and five seniors moved on to Div. I schools. But Kentucky-bound 6-2 SR Nolan Hickman (17.3 ppg, 3.4 apg, 1.8 spg at Sammamish Eastside Catholic WA) and Houston pledge 6-6 SR Robbie Armbrester (Atlanta Therrell GA) have transferred in, joining highly touted 6-2 JR Rickie Isaacs (14.2 ppg, 5.7 apg, 2.2 rpg, 1.3 spg) to form a potent trio for first-year head coach Paul Peterson, who succeeds David Evans. Three other Tigers, 6-7 SR Fousseyni Traore (9.2 ppg, 5.6 rpg), 6-8 JR Matus Hronsky (4.9 ppg) and 6-8 JR Keba Keita, are among the best talents in Utah.
