The ultimate “Hometown Hero” resides about 40 miles west of Philadelphia. That’s where 6-6 JR Colton Hiller (23.7 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 3.2 apg, 3.1 steals), a 40-point threat every time he takes the court, has transformed Coatesville into a must-see stop for college coaches – with Duke, Florida, Kansas, North Carolina and Kentucky all in hot pursuit. Hiller erupted for a career-high 40 points in the Red Raiders’ 90-79 OT victory over Bishop Shanahan in the Ches-Mont League championship game and led head coach John Allen’s squad to a District 1 runner-up finish. … A half-dozen or so holdovers from last year should be back, including 6-2 SR Jahlil Thedford, 6-2 JR Yasir Turner, 5-11 SR Jahmaad Williams, 6-2 SR Kevin Norman, and 6-4 SR Paris Parker.
