Indians At A Glance

The Indians and emerging star 6-5 JR Isaac Okoro put together 29 consecutive wins and earned the school’s first trip to the state semifinals, powered by a young-but-unselfish starting unit under head coach Mike Thompson. The young guard poured in 27 points in a 75-60 quarterfinal win over Wheeler, but McEachern’s unbeaten run ended with a 56-49 loss to eventual champion Tift County. A formidable front line boasts two enforcers – 6-8 JR Babatunde Akingbola and 6-9 JR Jared Jones. The latter will be making his fourth consecutive City of Palms appearance (with three different teams).
