HEAD COACH: Anthony Shahbaz
The previously low-profile South Miami school has exploded into a national contender under the tutelage of head coach Anthony Shahbaz, winning three consecutive state championships from 2023-25. Now, Riviera Prep makes its debut in the Traditional Bracket (the Bulldogs were 1-1 in the 2023 Sunshine Series). The current group includes 6-9 SR Jeremy Jenkins, who returns from a year in the Atlanta-based Overtime Elite program and was the team’s leading scorer during the third state-title run, and Wake Forest recruit 6-4 SR Quincy Douby (17.2 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 3.6 apg). There are other high-profile newcomers, headlined by three-level scorer 6-1 SR C.J. Westbrook (23.6 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 2.4 apg at St. Thomas Aquinas) and 6-5 SR Anthony Walcott (14.1 ppg, 6.8 rpg at Pines Charter), both state champions last year, along with a collection of yet-to-be-revealed international prospects.
